This duckie is best for giving a massage to someone, but nothing more. It is very stiff and uncomfortable to use otherwise.

Bluntly, this was not purchased for sore muscles. purchased for GF going away for extended stay overseas, in a country that probably wouldnt look too fondly on finding a 'traditional' version of this device in her luggage. she is not 'into' such, um, contraptions either.
she got a laugh out of it from the novelty factor (and unfortunately wouldnt stop giggling). i had it loaded with energizer lithium AA batteries and the thing definitely has a kick to it. is it wrong to say i was intimidated by it? this duck only swims at one speed. frankly we had more fun with the pink boa.
she has yet to employ it, without giggling. so it does bring some joy.
summary: no first hand experience with anything other than novelty side of it. brings her joy, just not the type i thought.
